Louis is a senior artists who was involved in a number of very well-known games. He co-founded indie game studio Qubit Games, and currently serves as its Art Director.
Scenery in between The Voxels: The Visual Design of Qubot
Following the tradition of Qubit Games, the game Qubot specifically picked voxel style as its unique visual design. But due to the genre of the game, the studio also faced mutiple challenges in terms of production, business model, game design and visual design. During this talk, Louis will share his experience about the struggle of making Qubot, how that impacted on different aspects in terms of its visual design, and how small team could find its on identity while considering studio survivability.
