Johnny Jan
Johnny is a senior game producer in Taiwan, and founded Winking Entertainment and its predecessor, WindThunder Studio in the past 20 years. Heroine Anthem, produced by WindThunder, was one of the most famous game series in Taiwan and Chinese-speaking regions. Winking Entertainment is the leading VR developer and publisher in the Greater China area, and also the top 3 outsourcing studio in China, with more than 400 employees and 3 branches globally.
Johnny started designing games in high school, and has delved into VR development in recent years. He is the producer of PSVR game Unearthing Mars, which ranked #1 in Top Games both on PlayStation Store US & Japan under the VR category after launch. Johnny directly supervises several other UE4 VR projects produced by Winking Entertainment, and its VR investment and publishing team.
The Development and The Success of Unearthing Mars
After the global launch of PSVR game Unearthing Mars, it performed excellently on both PlayStation Store US & Japan. Johnny Jan, the founder and CEO of Winking Entertainment, led the team as the producer. He will be talking about the whole development process of Unearthing Mars in full, including the difficulties they run into, and the stories of how they overcame the obstacles in the end.
